We were intrigued to hear about The Bubblegum Sequencer, a physical step sequencer that lets you create tracks by arranging coloured balls on a 16x4 grid of circular holes.

Each coloured ball represents a bassline, handclap, cowbell, etc and a camera below the grid records the position and colour of each ball which then translates into sound.
